Izumibashi Shuzo | Sparkling
Dragonfly Sparkling Nigori
Nigori means "cloudy" in Japanese. This sake is only roughly filtered, leaving behind fine rice particles that give it a soft, milky-white appearance.
After secondary fermentation in the bottle, it develops an elegant effervescence and a crisp, dry finish. The sake is then heat-pasteurized to preserve its bright acidity and refreshing sweetness.
Perfect as an aperitif, this Nigori sake offers a lively balance of texture and flavor ideal for awakening the palate before a meal.

Izumibashi Sake Brewery, founded in 1857 during the Edo period, is located in Ebina (Kanagawa), in the fertile alluvial plains along the Sagami River. This location provides not only ideal conditions for rice cultivation but also access to mineral-rich ground water from the Tanzawa Mountains. Since 2016, Izumibashi has been known as a “cultivation brewery®,” this means that every step—from growing and polishing the sake rice to brewing—is carried out in-house.
