Alongside kimchi and K-pop, Gochujang is one of the biggest Korean influences in Japan. Korean cuisine has never been more popular in Japan, so we couldn’t resist experimenting with this spicy Korean chili paste. Our rich mackerel turned out to pair perfectly with it—a true flavor explosion!

Ingredients: Mackerel, Miso, Mirin, Sesame Oil, Gochujang

Country of origin: Norway (Wild)

Preparation method: Defrost the fish in the sealed package for 30 min in cold water or overnight in the refrigerator. Preheat the oven or grill to 230° C. Place the fish skin side up on a baking sheet and bake for 8-10 minutes.
