Iwashi

These Iwashi (sardines) come from Choshi, Japan. They are rich, flavorful fish, high in Omega-3 and vitamin D. In our assortment you can already find products where the sardines are salted or marinated, but with this variety you can prepare them entirely to your own taste. In Japan, even the innards are often eaten: considered a delicacy with a distinct, sometimes slightly bitter flavor that not everyone appreciates. These sardines are perfect for the barbecue!
