Totally versatile! Different recipes using Gindara (black cod)

In March of 2024 our three Gindara (black cod) products are on special offer: the Gindara Kirimi (slices, no added flavour), Gindara Saikyozuke (marinated in sweet miso sauce) and Gindara Kasuzuke (marinated in ricewine lees).

Black cod doesn’t need much in principle: it has a tender texture and buttery taste, so just by frying it and sprinkling some salt and pepper, it’s already delicious! The so-called Saikyozuke, black cod marinated in a miso sauce, is a quintessential Japanese dish, but in fact black cod is enjoyed all over the world.
Because they have been marinated, the Saikyozuke and Kasuzuke versions already come with flavour, so you can fry them and then enjoy them as such.
